for once...let's talk about something else rather than the babies i totally LOVE!! ^_^

what's new with me?

highlighted events :

i bought an uber-cool shirt!! it was originally marked at 200 php, but i managed to haggle it to 120!! (for ukay-ukay tips, scroll down!). i was also going to buy this cool pair of pants, but sad to say, it didn't fit!! gRR!!! why couldn't there be a more fashionable plus-sized apparel?

i was reminiscing about this new show i'm addicted to, VERONICA MARS, and i remember this joke from the first season :

GUY : there's this secret society, you know. they've existed for like forever. and they're totally secret. no one knows about them.

VERONICA : yeah, then how come i haven't heard about them (pauses). Wait, forget i asked...

(TOTALLY FUNNY!!!)

anyway, moving on...

i'm still procrastinating on my UP Forms. for example, going to pacol to get a transcript, grad pic, and statement of account. plus, i haven't even started on my med formS!! grrr

o yeah,...i forgot to share..

yesterday my family went to legaspi...

for some reason, they went there not to shop (OMG!!) but rather to see this statue that hasn't fallen down...

okay, the only reason why i would possibly stay cramped in a vehicle for more than 2 hours (hey it election time! - traffic!) is to go to pacific mall in legaspi. considering that they have a national bookstore there (and not here!) i just gave my mom a shopping list of books to buy - this list includes RUNNING WITH SCISSORS, ERAGON BOOK 2 : ELDEST, and one more that's currently slipping my mind. imagine my horror when my clan came home telling me they didn't drop by the mall.

exactly one of my uncles had this *brilliant* idea to go see a statue!!! during the *heavily dramatized* incidents in legaspi, everyone just seems to be flocking there. talk about tourism! anyway, there was this place wherein everything was devastated - even very heavy tables and chairs were tumbled by the storm. however, they CLAIM that the statue of mary wasn't even moved!
the statue which was supposedly made by light wood...

do they honestly believe that people are gullible..well the very impressionable and higly religious bicolanos would...thank god i've isolated myself from such people...

---------------

now back to debating society :

last friday we had a 'common lunch' so to speak...it was fun..yeah...i expected more drama but that was okay ^_^

what do we have in plan for our babies?

first, last friday we power-matched everyone. meaning they already have their permanent temporary partners. (don't even try to figure it out) . people are ranked and team-ed up with people of their level. however, we randomized the letter system. meaning that team a isn't the top team, nor is team j. nor the other way around...i forgot the pairing...i'll post it tomorow.

it was friday the 13th!! that means my dragonfable character is on a 'mission!' good! ehehehe

tomrow, i may give another exhibition whip speech. i was actually disappointed by my last speech cuz i labeled the issues WRONG!! i feel so embarassed! (but at least we won 1st!! although it was monica who grabbed the best speaker - uncontested! - still i was second!!)

this was the reason why agor and i (closing opposition) won first over monica and mea (mea is NOT my long lost brother. they were closing government)

yes, i know monica SHOULD be my partner. but agor stole me!

anyway, according to ma'am neva, closing opposition had an extension and effective whipping (XUDEE!). while closing government had effective extension, however no whipping. hence we won over them not because we were exceptional but because they lacked something. i hate winning due to that!

as i've said i'll give a whip speech tomorow. i just hope i get the issues right! i feel a bit bad that no one still gets whipping. it's actually the easiest. haaaiii...

anyway, monday - wednesday just scrimmages and lectures..

wednesday ma'am neva will have an ice cream party! YEY!!

thursday - friday, ma'am nevs won't be here! that means we alumni and incoming seniors will PLAY!!

better watch out!!

no just kidding...we're kind!!

My Babies...

CAST OF CHARACTERS: (charus!)

ps : these are only the incoming-second year debaters. for some reason, the incoming third and fourth year debaters aren't my babies - they're my siblings so to speak.

anyway, here are the fifteen of them. (ps, will update this in the future, don't worry - i don't know everyone personally yet)

iwabya'aLl!

dwyt - obviously a very intelligent person. he's the incoming ansgo treasurer. plus, as a first year, he's a very active writer for the school paper. add the fact that he's ALWAYS the top in academics and that he represented group 3 of pistaym 9 in the academic contest (the only first year to EVER do that in how many years), and actually ranking 3rd overall (defeating legends like precious baroy). dwight has a very imaginative mind - imagine a young boy knowing about sadomasochism and lesbianism!

kevin - another valedictorian! well, a lot of girls (and gays!) have crushes on kevin. well who wouldn't?! he's not only SUUUUUUUUPER CUTE, he's also a very kind sweet person. he's also good in math (according to dwight!) hmmm..his smile is also cute (charus!). he has my debating notebook, by the way, - (ps my debating notebook is TRASH! i need to buy a new one) i admire kevin because he lives in IRIGA and he goes to ateneo and goes home EVERY DAY! talk about dedication!

dominic (under construction)

ralph (under construction) ralph gives good clashes

mae - who can forget mae? after all, she treats people afterwards. VERY RICH! ehehe. she treated me to kikiam, palamig and ice cream. mae and i also chat practically every day (and every night!) we talk about her non-existent crusheS! according to kenneth abante, he would like mae to sit on his left - because left symbolizes the devil! but seriously, mae is a very talkative girl - you won't run out of fun when you're with her. she's also a consistent first honor although (according to her) she doesn't study!

yna - 'i love the butterflies'. i won't forget the day i adjudicated yna's first british parliamentary debate. she was holding a butterfly pen, her t-shirt had a butterfly print, and her clips were all butterflies! (i actually wanted to see if her braces were butterflies as well!) but as i've said, i love the butterflies! yna is also pretty (all my babies got my beauty trait!!) yna and i also chat every night! although she has a lot of problems with her internet connection

katharine (under construction) - kath and I chat every night as well. she's renzo's friend

em-em - when i first listened to em-em's speech, i honestly thought i was back in manila debating against the best! for her level, her speeches are REALLY good. she makes clean prime minster speeches. her flow of logic is unflawed. her status quo makes everything a totally clean setup. perhaps a tiny flaw rests only on manner - i don't really know whom she's talking too! but nevertheless, very good potential! we both live in magsaysay avenue!

lysa (under construction)

johanna - WHIP!! i haven't heard any of johanna's recent speeches, however they ARE good according to agor. she'd also make a good whip, take note. she's fun to be with - she's always with KEVIN! (i'm making intrigues again!)

jana - the truth or truth part in mcdo! i really won't put that here cause it's private! jana speaks well. good logic. she's also pretty - a lot of boys like her!

gwen - she attended two days because she had to go somewhere. she'll be back tomorow

clarisse(under construction) - miss ateneo!

angelica(under construction)

clare(under construction)

------------------------

i love my babies so much!!!

they're also all very pretty and very handsome!!

they got those genes from ME!! *from who else?*

babies q... (english - my babies)

i love my debsoc babies!!! (all in general, none in particular ^_^ )

....perhaps one in particular?? ehehe that's for me to know and you to ponder upon!!!

anyway, i'm actually faced with a VERY big dilemna -

yes, i love the debating society (and my debsoc babies!) so much....perhaps TOO much...

i feel a bit bad though

i'm leaving for manila

i won't see them again after next week

and i don't want to get attached only to get unattached...

my gosh

at least ken and glen would see them AGAIN!

and i would see them...after a LOT of months....

ahreeleelabdembewimatSh!!

d second week of debating is the most crucial and dramatic point...if i attend this, i will be more attached to my babies...

but should i really get into this??

i love them really - but i'll never see them again (huhuhu)

u know me

i hate goodbyes...

should i attend the secondweek of training or should i not?

a no good very bad horrible terrible influence....

debating society freshies...

i have no idea why i'm influencing them to laziness and mediocrity!

bad!

i feel that i'm influencing them bad stuff instead of leading them to good stuff

am i taking out frustrations?

i hope not

anyway

debsoc updates:

i adjudicated an asian parl debate. it was the incoming third years against incoming seniors. i actually feel bad cuz i was the ONLY adj (ma'am nevs got an emergency phone call and gianni was too busy pointing) and yet i was a SLEEPY adj

i actually listened to prime minister's speech. however, after discussing status quo for a long time, my mind began wandering. when the leader of opposition started his speech, i got really sleepy. AND BORED (i requested for a social issue yet the motion was international)

i totally didn't listen to either deputies. i feel bad

i tried but i just can't.

i decided that i would want to listen to the whips. however, i was a bit disappointed in both whip performances (there were NO issues given) and so i too began sleeping after a few minutes

when i was called to adj i did the most sensible thing i could do - BLUFF

-----------------

first debate of firsties

i adjudicated round 1. it was dwight and gurl (forgot the name sorry) against johanna and kevin.

dwight has great potential of being an excellent whip. he can see the best way to rebut arguments. and FAST

we were worse when we were they're age...trust me

------------------------

adjudication.

i would like to share the fact that when i adjudicated that debate i was able to impart a few of my experiences.

that's right

(i even shared things about lesbianism, sadomasochism, and another gay movie - talk about connection)

but it was fun

i love sharing stuff with young people

i love debating society so muCh!!

being a deb-soc kuya...

before, i've never enjoyed being a 'kuya'. to my family, i've always been a bad influence upon our younger generation. and i've never even expected that i'll ever be a good image for young ones to look up to.

this week, however, it came to chance that i decided to join the adnu hs debating society seminar. the real reason i want to join was really because i wanted to learn how to adjudicate. however, being there for two days made me realize a few things.

first, i was being called 'kuya rye-rye' by those incoming sophomores. and then it struck me. they look up to me. they think that i'm better. flattering it may be, but then i realized the responsibilities that come with it.

as a deb-soc kuya, i couldn't really teach them to do bad things - (ie, be lazy in reading matter). instead, i have to encourage them to do those things. and not only encourage them - but rather to 'lead by example'.

after two days, i already feel attached to them. i envy ken and glenn who would still be with them for one year.

i know i'll miss them...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

on a totally different note...

i love small boys... :D

small cute young boys

(i am such a pedophile!! but technically im not an adult)

i heart small cute boys...

i saw this cute boy...

and i'm just dying...

i'm only posting this for the sake of the blog

and please...to those debating society members who DO read this...please keep this to yourself, okay? don't ttell our secret to anyone..

there's this cute guy from debating society

he's an incoming sophomore

and his small and cute

his name is kevin

and i find him cute

when i adjudicated him this afternoon

i asked him..

'are you straight or gay?'

he claims to be straight

(that makes it even more HOT...gay boys pretending to be straight!)

nweiz..please keep that to yourself

i find him cute

and if ever i adjudicate a full debate tomorrow

i'll make sure he wins

by hook or by crook

^_^

A homosexual, his health, his defamiliarized entry, his debating and his family at goa

i want to apologize to all my fans and subscribers as i am not able to post posts regularly. anyway, will make up to it now :)

a few days ago I went to a doctor and a dentist. dentist first.

this is what she wrote in my paper (and i quote) :

'HE HAS A GOOD ORAL HEALTH CONDITION'

now, let's be meticulous grammar-concious people and improve that sentence, shall we? let's define health - state of wellness. and what is state? CONDITION

hence the word 'condition' is redundant. so shortening it - 'HE HAS A GOOD ORAL HEALTH'. Now, let's talk about nouns. Nouns can either be abstract or concrete. And concrete nouns can be further divided into mass nouns and counts nouns. and count nouns are those that can be counted. hence they are the only ones who can get adjectives as articles. (TWO HAIR? SIX GENEROSITY?) health is an abstract noun, hence it requires no article. now modifying it again - 'HE HAS GOOD ORAL HEALTH'

now doesn't that sound better?

on to the doctor. the doctor was very poky and kept bugging me about going to UP. saying that taking up philo, polsci, lit, eng, eco are 'dangerous' subjects. true, but then.. ehehehe (taking THEM up in UP i mean)

nweiz, i am diagnosed as a 'class 2 obesity'. can you believe that? THEY SHOULD REVOKE HIS LICENSE!! that's obviously lying. and according to him, my tonsils are enlarged!! GRRRR...

that's enough about my private health.

now....read this (orignial - written by moi) :

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

An elite member of the British Society travels to Naga City, Philippines for a short vacation. She arrived here during the time the Catholics celebrated Holy Week.

This is an excerpt from her memoir:

'Heaven help this poor aborigines! What kind of annual ritual do they perform every year? I tried my best to keep my mind open to circumstances like this, I mean, visiting a hellhole of a country, but what stuff am I seeing?

Riding around in this crumped vehicle, wherein a sweaty driver keeps shouting out destinations - ooh, and note that the said vehicle isn't even air-conditioned! Mind you, there are even those such vehicles that have very faded drawings. What does their government do?

Anyway, after staying here for a while, I chanced upon this annual celebration of theirs. I tried to research this in their local library - until I realized that their so-called library was a collection of stuff from a guy with prostate cancer. All I learned from the library was that they celebrate the death and rebirth of this guy they call Jesus.

I was actually brave enough to enter one of their places of worship. Not only were their a lot of people who were troubled, but there were these old ladies who are paid to send your after-life entity to a place of eternal rest. I heard that these old ladies even go to the residences of people to sing in a highly-falcetto-ed voice some latin chants. Anyway, in the church, I was shocked to see a black cloth draped over those statues of people that the church leaders deemed worthy to display there. Why didn't they just remove the statue? Why cover them? Anyway, those black clothes really depressed me - I felt that I was dead!

Later that afternoon, I saw a lot of people walking down the road and I got shocked. First of all, why are they walking through despicable roads? And, second, why are they walking AT ALL? I think they are trying to sacrifice, or something. And then I reflected - who are they sacrificing for?

With this in mind, I tried to talk to those people engaged in sacrifice walking to this other place of worship. These aborigines seem to have a lot of 'taste' in choosing churches. they actually think that different churches have a vast difference. So, when I approached these group of students, I was at first thinking that they should be sorrowful - after all a man died. I mean, since a man died 2000+ years ago, they all have to feel bad. O, I'm sorry. Did i say a man died? I mean, a man ALLEGEDLY died. That's if you take a chunky piece of BADLY-WRITTEN literature seriously - as these tribes seem to. Now, where was I? O yes my interview. They SHOULD BE sorrowful. Then how come I saw this group of students laughing around boisterously while one boy was astonishingly groping the other boy in public. So, these tribes do now animal sex after all. Of course, I mean animal in a metaphorical sense. Although, I really wouldn't be too shocked if there were bestials here.

So these students were here not to be 'sorrowful'. that's a very good point in restating the faith of these tribal people.

The next day, the entire town became a ghost town. Metaphorically. I can't believe that even video-rental shops and gyms close! I guess that's what ahppens when i go to places like this. They actually want to give away one day of business. That's a surprise.

I met this family. They were going around the province to go to a number of churches. And i pondered how come they couldn't just go to nearby churches. And then i found out - after going around churches, they plan on going swimming!

Are swimming and groping boys part of their sacrifices? If they are, there might be some hope yet.

Two days later, I saw pathetic looking children wearing angel suits.

And I think about the day they lose their virginity to that old street bum.

What is the point of this annual ritual? Certainly, not to sacrifice. Enlighten me please. This hellhole has been too much for me. Except for watching gay people do each other in public, I really hate this place.

--------------------------------------------------------------

so what'd you think??? COMMENT PLS!!!

Anyway, New Topic : Debating Society Seminar started today. I saw a lot of cool new people. I'm not sure if i saw a cute guy. Will verify tomorow. their mostly girls by the way. So, the debatin society will now be a feminine gay society. not that I'm sexist or anything. but i'm quite disappointed that there are no gays in the debsoc. what about the legacy? GAHR!!

yesterday, my family and I went to Goa. i didn't want to go but my mom emotionally blackmailed me.we were there to visit my grandfather. supposedly that's my last time there and i'm supose to say goodbye. but honestly, he really won't cry if i don't visit!!! Goa is SOOO far. I was so BOORED! and all my cousins want to do is to play cardS! CRAP THAT MY CELLPHONE RAN OUT OF BATTERY. i was forced to play with them.

i hate going there. thank god thats the last time i go there!

anyway, last note :

a batchmate of mine is missing. if anyone finds her, please tell her parents.

there is however a circulating rumor. it is said that she is now living with her boyfriend - an ex-teacher. they have been on since third year. and now that she's graduated they're living together.

:D
